Aydon Stefanopoulus, a sophomore at Los Gatos High, finished fifth in the Division 2 boys final at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Stefanopoulus, who improved from 22nd last year as a freshman, covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:14.7 to help Los Gatos place 15th overall with 384 points.
